Collecting Rent For Your Investment
We make sure you get paid on time, every time
Collecting rent is easy if you have the perfect resident who pays on time! But what if they don’t? Having someone in your corner who knows resident law and the proper notices to send is critical!
If a resident has gone beyond the grace period of the lease, we provide them with a late rent notice, where we collect the appropriate late fees along with the normal rent amount. Worse case, if we have a resident who does stop paying rent, we will assist in the eviction process and re-renting the property quickly.
We make paying rent easy for residents with the online resident portal that can be accessed 24/7. We encourage residents to pay online, which means we can pay you out faster.
In alignment with our values, we kindly remind our residents that rent is considered late after the 5th of each month. To support timely payments and ensure the smooth operation of our properties, a late payment fee of $150 will be applied.
In the event of late payments, we prioritize open communication. We encourage residents to reach out promptly if facing challenges to meet the payment deadline. Should no response be received, HBR Rentals follows California law protocols by issuing a 3-day notice. This ensures that all parties are aware of the necessary steps to rectify the situation in a fair and legally compliant manner.
Our commitment to fostering a harmonious landlord-resident relationship is rooted in adherence to policies prioritizing accountability while recognizing individual circumstances. We will be in constant communication with you during our process.
